GI / GROUPB-001 marks the beginning of the Grid Icons Group B Series — a collection built around the cars, characters and sheer insanity that defined rallying’s most legendary era.

For the first release, we go back to one of the most recognisable machines of them all: the Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2.

Built for the short, brutal stages of Group B, the Sport Quattro S1 E2 became an icon of four-wheel-drive rallying. With its wide stance, outrageous aero and unmistakable five-cylinder soundtrack, it represented an era when manufacturers pushed technology, performance and bravery to the absolute limit.

The back features an original Grid Icons illustration inspired by the S1 E2 at full attack, surrounded by the raw technical graphics and rally-bred details that defined the period. The design captures the car exactly where it belongs — sideways, committed and seemingly one mistake away from disaster.

The front keeps things deliberately understated with a small Grid Icons Motorsport mark and GI / GROUPB-001 — identifying this as the first piece in the Grid Icons Group B Series.

Printed exclusively on white, the heavyweight 240gsm 100% cotton tee combines a relaxed oversized fit with dropped shoulders and a substantial feel, making it a proper piece of streetwear rather than a standard automotive T-shirt.
